Victoriia Cherevko was born on November 5, 2000 in the city of Kolomyia and is now based in the city of Lviv in the west of Ukraine.
She loved to draw since childhood, but the real spark of her gift ignited during a difficult period around the Covid pandemic. Since then, he has not let go of the brush. Her work is bold in colour and composition and is laden with hope and optimism despite the dire situation she is currently living in. Victoria says that the process of creating a picture gives an opportunity to forget about all her everyday worries and anxieties.

Victoriia says “The war was a huge shock for all Ukrainians and greatly affected all spheres of life. Personally, I felt fear and confusion, in the first weeks of the war I did not pick up a brush at all, but then it became my salvation from all the bad things that are happening. It was with the help of paints that I was able to pour out all my emotions on canvas and create my paintings. Each painting contains a piece of my soul.”
