I was born in Lancashire in 1964 but finding it a bit nippy I travelled south.
in 1978 i ended up at Peper Harow school for the deranged in Surrey. please see photo.
in the cellar of this extraordinary place was the pottery where I discovered ceramics. It's important to have a hobby.
When i left i made my living as a motorcycle courier until In 1994 i wandered in to hackney city farm and started to run its studio ...I'm still there.
I got my city n guilds in ceramics and design in 1997
my influences are Leach, Watson and Blackshaw
