The Cornish contemporary painter, Louise McClary’s professional career spans over thirty years. Her work responds to the unique landscape of Cornwall’s Lizard Peninsula, a luxuriously tranquil place of closely wooded valleys and tidal creeks. She was elected to the Newlyn Society of Artists and is a recipient of an Arts Council of England award. She exhibits widely in the UK and abroad and is represented by Long and Ryle, London. This abstract drawing, one of a series of three, may have been inspired by the intricate shapes and textures of the natural vegetation that flourishes on the Lizard.
