David Hearle is a self-taught Cornish craftsman with an affinity for natural materials, principally wood and stone, which he works with traditional hand tools, eschewing power tools. His creative projects cover a broad range, from landscape design and realignment (eg the Eden Project and the centre of the maze at the National Trust’s Glendurgan Gardens) to this hand-crafted salt bowl made for domestic use.
